What is GamTred?
At GamTred, we started with a simple question: How does learning and development (L&D) really work inside companies? And more importantly, how should it work?
If you're an L&D manager, you're probably juggling a million things at once, but your biggest challenge is ensuring that employees actually learn what they need to learn.
Let’s take sales teams as an example. Salespeople need enough product knowledge to confidently sell your company’s offerings. That knowledge typically comes from product managers, who—let’s be honest—would love nothing more than to share every detail about everything to make sure no customer ever has unrealistic expectations. So, they flood L&D teams with massive amounts of information. And guess who has to make sense of it all? You.
Now, from a salesperson’s perspective, most of this information isn’t crucial. They don’t need to know everything—they just need to know the right things. Their priority? Spending more time with customers, building relationships, and actually selling. Ideally, products would be so intuitive that common sense would be enough. Or, even better, they’d have a technical expert by their side 24/7. But let’s face it—neither of those things are happening anytime soon.
So, they still need to learn. They need to articulate benefits, explain conditions, and answer key questions. But they also know that only about 10% of what they’re told is truly essential. The rest? Just nice-to-have. Salespeople don’t want to sit through hours of training just to tick a compliance box. That’s why most of them often try to game the system—skimming through materials, clicking through quizzes, and hoping for the best. When they inevitably get stumped by a customer question, they don’t go back to the training materials—they go straight to the product team for answers. While this method sort of works, it makes the entire training process inefficient and, frankly, a waste of time.
Enter GamTred.
At Edugamitech, we asked ourselves: What if learning wasn’t a burden? What if employees absorbed essential knowledge naturally—without even realizing they were “studying”? What if learning was engaging, even enjoyable, woven seamlessly into their daily routines?
Here’s the good news: There is a way. And it’s been right in front of us all along.
Think about how children learn. They play. They explore. They experience knowledge, rather than just memorizing facts. This natural learning process is powerful. And guess what? It works just as well for adults. When people are having fun—when they’re fully engaged in a game—they enter a flow state. In this state, they’re more focused, more receptive, and more likely to retain what they learn.
That’s why GamTred exists.
Our vision is to create a platform that seamlessly integrates learning into gameplay. Employees get to play real games—ones they actually enjoy—while naturally absorbing key knowledge. From an L&D perspective, GamTred provides a structured yet flexible way to ensure employees learn exactly what they need to know, without the usual resistance.
The Power of Gaming—But Not in the Way You Think
Now, let’s clear up a common misconception: GamTred is not about creating educational games.
We are not in the business of making games that simulate real-life job tasks or provide context-driven training scenarios. That’s not what we do. Our approach is completely different.
Instead, GamTred integrates any game—standalone, fully independent games from any genre—into the learning process. These are real games, designed for entertainment, not education. Think puzzles, tower defense, RPGs, endless runners—whatever employees actually enjoy playing.
The learning content? It exists outside the game itself. Our platform does not alter the game’s mechanics, story, or experience to fit the curriculum. Instead, it overlays short, engaging learning moments within the gaming experience—just like how in-app ads pop up in free-to-play games. But instead of ads, employees get bite-sized knowledge bits, quick quizzes, or interactive tasks that seamlessly integrate into their gameplay.
How does it work?
For educators, it’s simple: Identify the core knowledge employees must retain and break it down into nano-learning—tiny, digestible bits of information. These could be 20–30 second videos, quick audio snippets, or brief text segments of 3-5 sentences. Generate engaging quizzes or interactive tasks. Upload them to GamTred, and voilà—your curriculum is ready to go. Need updates? No problem. You can add, remove, or adjust content anytime.
For learners, it’s even easier: They open GamTred, choose a game they enjoy (or follow personalized recommendations), and start playing. These games can also be available from the popular mobile app stores and employees can download them to the their mobile devices. These aren’t dull, “educational” games—they’re real games, across all genres, from puzzles to RPGs. And here’s the magic—learning is embedded within the gameplay.
Instead of interrupting the experience, learning moments appear just like in-app ads in free-to-play games. But instead of ads, employees see quick learning tasks: “Want an extra 30 seconds of game time? Answer these three sales questions.” It’s a seamless, non-intrusive way to engage employees, keeping them motivated to learn without disrupting the fun.
Over time, our AI-driven system personalizes content based on job roles, seniority, and company priorities. A salesperson might receive a mix of product updates, compliance essentials, and key sales techniques—all delivered in a way that feels natural and effortless.
Why does this work?
Because it taps into three key learning principles:
The result? Employees who want to learn. Who come back voluntarily. Who actually remember what they’ve learned when it matters most.
Flexibility and Scalability—Because Learning Changes, But Games Don’t Have To
The beauty of GamTred is that learning content and games are completely decoupled. This means that whenever you need to update your training curriculum, you don’t have to touch the games at all. Just swap out the learning content in our system, and it’s instantly available in the games your employees already love playing.
This flexibility extends to game development as well. Our platform works with both:
This means companies aren’t locked into a single type of game or learning format. Employees get real games they actually enjoy, and L&D teams get a scalable, adaptable learning solution that doesn’t require reworking every time the curriculum changes.
What GamTred Isn’t
While this platform is an incredibly powerful tool, it’s not for every type of learning. GamTred is designed for learning content that can be broken down into small, digestible pieces—think three to five sentences, a 30-second video, or a short audio snippet.
If you need to teach highly complex, multi-layered skills that require deep, structured learning, GamTred isn’t the right fit. It’s not a simulator, and it won’t immerse learners in job-specific environments. It’s not about providing context—it’s about providing a learning medium.
The real magic of GamTred isn’t in crafting a game that teaches—it’s in using the power of engagement. By putting learners in a flow state—that sweet spot where they’re fully focused and receptive—we increase knowledge retention. Employees learn while playing, without even realizing they’re learning.
And because they’re playing games they genuinely enjoy, they want to come back again and again—creating a natural, ongoing learning process.
Implementation is a breeze.
GamTred is available as a SaaS solution (hosted on our secure platform) or as an on-premises installation. Once set up, you can choose the games you want to offer, define engagement rules, and upload your curriculum. Our AI tools even help extract key learning points from existing materials, transforming them into nano-learning bits and quiz questions automatically.
Want to take it further? Our system will be able to analyze customer interactions—emails, call transcripts, and chats—to identify trending topics and dynamically update learning content, keeping your training always relevant.
Employees can access GamTred on their mobile devices, selecting games from app stores and learning on their own terms. Over time, the system fine-tunes recommendations, ensuring they get the right knowledge at the right time. You can track progress, enforce compliance rules, and even set up onboarding sequences or mandatory training sessions.
What’s next?
We’re developing GamTred 2.0, which will introduce even more ways to learn—podcasts, videos, and non-gaming applications for those who prefer other formats. But to make this the best learning experience possible, we need forward-thinking companies to partner with us.
We’re looking for pilot customers. In return, you’ll get:
If you believe your employees deserve a better way to learn—one that actually works—we’d love to work with you. Let’s build the future of workplace learning together.
Game on!
